The Mr Shaw clothing brand was first started in 2016 as an online men's casual wear brand. Karl and Emma, Mr & Mrs Shaw opened numerous times on Sadler Gate as a Pop-up and in November 2022 we occupied 49 Sadler Gate doing the same.

Little did we know that we'd be taking on the building in January 2023 for a further 6 months with a view to purchasing the building. Extensive renovation works started within those months and we officially opened our doors to the public on May 27th 2023.

The concept was clothes shop/cafe bar. We officially opened Shaw's Yard giving us a cool outdoor space in September 2024. Fast forward to 1st September 2025 we felt the need to adapt and play to our strengths and made the focus Music Events and Private Hire. Our ethos is “Keep it real” and we believe “Music is the answer”.
